Meet the Roasters
In some ways, Good Beans Coffee Roasting was inevitable. Mostly because we’re both from families of entrepreneurs and apparently "getting a stable 9-to-5" is a concept our DNA simply rejects. We’ve spent years itching to launch something of our own—we just had to figure out what that "something" was.
To say our professional paths have been a bit "chaotic" is an understatement. We’ve zigged, we’ve zagged, and we’ve probably tripped over a few power cords along the way. Our resumes look like a fever dream: we’ve done everything from stocking grocery shelves and running live sound-tech to corporate consulting and—no joke—robotics engineering.
Eventually, we took a long look at our eclectic pile of life experiences and realized we wanted a career that didn't feel like a glitch in the simulation. We narrowed it down to three non-negotiables:
A tribe, not just a cubicle: We wanted an industry fueled by community and genuine obsession. (Coffee people are our kind of weirdos.)
Something you can actually hold: We wanted to create a tangible product that makes people legitimately happy. Robotics is cool, but you can’t drink a circuit board at 7:00 AM.
A rabbit hole worth falling down: We wanted a subject we could geek out on for the next thirty years without getting bored.
The result? Good Beans. We’ve traded the robots and conference rooms for roasting drums and high-altitude beans. We’re here to roast the kind of coffee that makes you actually want to get out of bed—crafted by two people who realized that after trying everything else, there’s nothing better than a damn good cup of coffee.
